SURPRISE PARTY STRESS!!!

     It was a Monday, cool, spring day. It was also my uncles girlfriend´s birthday. 

     We got there at 6:05 and it now was around 6:25. Since it was a surprise party she did not know about it. My uncle had just texted my Mimi that he was going to be here in 8 minutes. 

     Everyone was behind the counter because we were at my uncles pizza restaurant, The Parlor. As we all ducked down I looked to my right and saw something. It looked so good. It was bread. 

     I had had some earlier but Mimi had told me to throw it out so I had no evidence. Then my mouth started to water.  

     Then a car pulled in. "Rudy!!!" Everyone shouted.

     I watched as Mimi pulled out her phone. She checked her texts and announced, ¨ He is coming in a few seconds. 

     Everyone was getting scared. I was too. If Rudy came in at the same time as Coco and Jenny, then all of our planning would be ruined. A man came up to the door. Apparently someone recognized him because Mimi rushed to unlock the door and let him in and lock it back up. 

     Soon everyone was back behind the counter. Almost 20 seconds later, Coco and Jenny pulled in.

     I could tell that she saw the banner because when she first came in, she looked straight towards it. ¨Hello?¨ She said/asked/knew?!?

     We all popped up and yelled, ¨ SURPRISE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!¨

    Everyone was happy and had a good time. And at the end, I was stuffed!!!

    I laughed when I saw this…She said/asked/knew?!? in the end it didn’t really matter if she knew, right? It was the thought and being together that mattered.

¨ I love the farm.¨ My sister shouted at us, and I felt pretty much the same. We were going to a farm on a random day so I was a little confused. My mom and dad never let us go places for no reason.   It was a dark and breezy winter night and I was coming home from my my mom's friends daughters dance recital. I was so much fun and everyone did great! When we got home we parked the car in the garage and we ran to the door because we were so tired.  My sister opened the door and said,¨ It is locked.¨ Everyone tried opening the door but it was definitely locked. No one knew what to do, but my mom unlocked the car and we all went in, except for daddy. ¨Can I honk the horn?¨ I asked Mom. She said no. We were sitting in the front seat because we never get to go in the front. I kept touching all the parts of the steering wheel, trying to find where the horn was hidden.   An anxious feeling filled my body as I sat patiently, waiting onstage for my numbers to be called. “ You did great in all of your dances,” I told myself. " Why are you getting so nervous? It won't change anything. “ Thinking this just made the anxiousness get worse. The awards had just started, and my first number had been called. “ Featherstone… Platinum.” The announcer called. This was my contemporary dance, my favorite dance this season. In case you didn't know, your dances were ranked with Gold being the lowest and then going High Gold, Platinum, and then Diamond being the highest. My friend Madison went up to retrieve the trophy and pins, and I smiled in relief that we did pretty well.
