Easter Delivery

Last Easter, I had a great idea. A few days before Easter, I told my mom my idea. "Maybe the night before Easter, we could deliver cookies to Grandmas and Mimi and Poppy's houses."

I helped my mom bake cookies the very next day. I also made some cards with dot paint, tape, and markers. When everything was ready, we were ready for Easter.

Finally, it was the day before Easter and my dad brought me and my sister Adi in the car to deliver cookies...we were going to make surprise deliveries! The first house was my Mimi and Poppy's house. It was hard because they had company at their house. I carefully walked up to the porch while Adi stayed with my Dad, she was scared. I gently put the bag of cookies into the mailbox. I raced back to the car thinking, "Mimi will be so surprised when she opens the mailbox!"

Next, we went to Great Grandma's house. This time, my sister wanted to come out with me because my Grandma has the kind of mailbox that stands on the side of the street, it wasn't attached to the house. After we dropped the cookies in the mailbox, we ran back to the car.

The next delivery was to my Coco's house. His house had two mailboxes. We decided to use the closest one to the car. We were having so much fun.

Finally, we were off to make our last delivery, to my Grandma's house. This time my dad did the drop off because we needed to get home, it was getting late.

When we got home, I texted everyone and said, "Check your mailbox!"

This year, we are going to do this again...on Easter! We hope to spread some happiness.

¨ I love the farm.¨ My sister shouted at us, and I felt pretty much the same. We were going to a farm on a random day so I was a little confused. My mom and dad never let us go places for no reason.   It was a dark and breezy winter night and I was coming home from my my mom's friends daughters dance recital. I was so much fun and everyone did great! When we got home we parked the car in the garage and we ran to the door because we were so tired.  My sister opened the door and said,¨ It is locked.¨ Everyone tried opening the door but it was definitely locked. No one knew what to do, but my mom unlocked the car and we all went in, except for daddy. ¨Can I honk the horn?¨ I asked Mom. She said no. We were sitting in the front seat because we never get to go in the front. I kept touching all the parts of the steering wheel, trying to find where the horn was hidden. We started opening compartments and touching the mirror. We were actually having fun. HONK!!! The horn finally honked and everyone laughed except for mom.  ¨ I told you no.¨ Mom said. ¨Wait!¨ I screamed I was looking out the window at dad. Dance

  An anxious feeling filled my body as I sat patiently, waiting onstage for my numbers to be called. “ You did great in all of your dances,” I told myself. " Why are you getting so nervous? It won't change anything. “ Thinking this just made the anxiousness get worse. The awards had just started, and my first number had been called. “ Featherstone… Platinum.” The announcer called. This was my contemporary dance, my favorite dance this season. In case you didn't know, your dances were ranked with Gold being the lowest and then going High Gold, Platinum, and then Diamond being the highest. My friend Madison went up to retrieve the trophy and pins, and I smiled in relief that we did pretty well.
