Hungry Hippos

We wanted to play Frozen Trouble tonight. But we got the Frozen Olaf's from the freezer, we noticed that the water had spilled. There wasn't any ice. "Dad! You didn't fill these up with water!" I yelled. 

My mom said, "We can play a different game." I still didn't think that there was a game cooled than Frozen Trouble.

My sisters and I went downstairs to find a different game. We looked and looked and we found Labyrinth. My mom said, "That will be too difficult for your sisters." So I stomped downstairs.

A few minutes later we came back up with Hungry Hippos. My mom read the directions. Then we started to play. We launched the balls and pressed the hippo levers that opens the mouths. The balls were shaking and shaking. We played two ways ways, the person who gets the most balls wins and the person who gets the golden ball wins.

My sister was being very competitive. So, I tried to play easy. But really, I didn't know how. We kept going and played a lot of rounds. Rosie kept yelling, "Eat your vegetables!"

In the end, we didn't care who won. We just kept playing. It was a happy game.

    I love Hungry Hippos, what a fun game! Great job making the best of the situation that did not start out the way you wanted. How do you play frozen trouble?

¨ I love the farm.¨ My sister shouted at us, and I felt pretty much the same. We were going to a farm on a random day so I was a little confused. My mom and dad never let us go places for no reason. We all got in the car and we went in the car for a long time just driving and driving. Then we reached ¨ The farm.¨ but the farm was not a farm. It was a bunch of plants in a greenhouse I thought what was that we are at a garden. My mom said that it wasn't exactly a farm she said it was more of a garden with animals.   It was a dark and breezy winter night and I was coming home from my my mom's friends daughters dance recital. I was so much fun and everyone did great! When we got home we parked the car in the garage and we ran to the door because we were so tired.  My sister opened the door and said,¨ It is locked.¨ Everyone tried opening the door but it was definitely locked. No one knew what to do, but my mom unlocked the car and we all went in, except for daddy. ¨Can I honk the horn?¨ I asked Mom. She said no. We were sitting in the front seat because we never get to go in the front. I kept touching all the parts of the steering wheel, trying to find where the horn was hidden. We started opening compartments and touching the mirror. We were actually having fun. HONK!!!   An anxious feeling filled my body as I sat patiently, waiting onstage for my numbers to be called. “ You did great in all of your dances,” I told myself. " Why are you getting so nervous? It won't change anything. “ Thinking this just made the anxiousness get worse. The awards had just started, and my first number had been called. “ Featherstone… Platinum.” The announcer called. This was my contemporary dance, my favorite dance this season. In case you didn't know, your dances were ranked with Gold being the lowest and then going High Gold, Platinum, and then Diamond being the highest. My friend Madison went up to retrieve the trophy and pins, and I smiled in relief that we did pretty well.
