To me home is a place to shelter you. I don´t know how I would live with no home. Here is a poem about what home means to me! To me a home is a place you spend your day, where you make memories and play and play, where the people you love are right beside you, to help with emotions and even guide you. To me a home is a place you stay, but if it is burnt or blown away, I guess I would not know what to say, I would be sad if I lost my home and I bet you would be too, so make the times with your family happy and a big ¨ Whoo Hoo!¨ If your home is a big mess, do not get stressed, clean it up and tell your kids, we keep our home healthy and that will be the way is is. To me a home can provide, anything you want inside, water, soap, bags, you name it, even if you do not have those things, don´t be ashamed of anything, just keep reminding yourself, I have a home and I am not like anyone else! To me a home does not have to be a big place, It could be small, tal...
It was a sunny day in early fall and me, my sisters, and my parents were in the front yard. Me and my sisters were coloring on a blanket while my parents cleaned out the garage. When Rose woke up from her nap, she came to snuggle on my mom's lap. While my mom was snuggling Rose, she checked her head because she had been scratching. She called to my dad and he checked Rose's head too. Then my mom called over my other sister, Adi. I can tell it's bad because I can see my mom making faces and she kept checking their heads. Then she called me over. I was a little bit scared. My mom wouldn't let any of us in the house. She began calling places to see if we could find someone to help. Finally, she told us all to get in the car. We drove a few minutes away to a store. "Do we have lice?" I asked her. "I think your sisters do and you might," she said. We all got out and walked into the store. The store was like a salon. There were salon chairs and each one...
It was a dark and breezy winter night and I was coming home from my my mom's friends daughters dance recital. I was so much fun and everyone did great! When we got home we parked the car in the garage and we ran to the door because we were so tired. My sister opened the door and said,¨ It is locked.¨ Everyone tried opening the door but it was definitely locked. No one knew what to do, but my mom unlocked the car and we all went in, except for daddy. ¨Can I honk the horn?¨ I asked Mom. She said no. We were sitting in the front seat because we never get to go in the front. I kept touching all the parts of the steering wheel, trying to find where the horn was hidden. We started opening compartments and touching the mirror. We were actually having fun. HONK!!! The horn finally honked and everyone laughed except for mom. ¨ I told you no.¨ Mom said. ¨Wait!¨ I screamed I was looking out the window at dad. And then suddenly I started to laugh! ¨What are you laughing at?¨ My s...
