Packing for school

Packing for school may not seem like a hard job and I guess it isn't but let me take you through it.

The day before school I need to pack my lunch. I do not usually get hot lunch so we need to pack our own lunch. We usually have the same things every day. 

 My mom packs my lunch and she asks, ¨ What do you guys want for lunch?¨

¨ Bagel!¨ I would usually say. Sometimes I would pick a ham sandwich but not too often. A few times I would pick leftover pizza.

The next thing we have to do is pack our snack bags. Some people use lunch bags but  I have a separate bag just for snack.   I pack my own snack. 

We have to have a fruit and a snack so for the snack I like to pick Z-Bars, Skinny popcorn, and sometimes Girl scout cookies [ If we have them. ] Others are corn puffs or what me and my sisters like to call purple bag.

For a fruit I like to pick apples, apple sauce, and grapes. They are so yummy!!!  

¨ What did you pack for snack?¨ We are always honest and we tell her. 

Then the day of school all we have to is put our water in our backpack.

And that is what we do to pack for school!

The ¨ Farm ¨

¨ I love the farm.¨ My sister shouted at us, and I felt pretty much the same. We were going to a farm on a random day so I was a little confused. My mom and dad never let us go places for no reason. We all got in the car and we went in the car for a long time just driving and driving. Then we reached ¨ The farm.¨ but the farm was not a farm. It was a bunch of plants in a greenhouse I thought what was that we are at a garden. My mom said that it wasn't exactly a farm she said it was more of a garden with animals.   It was a dark and breezy winter night and I was coming home from my my mom's friends daughters dance recital. I was so much fun and everyone did great! When we got home we parked the car in the garage and we ran to the door because we were so tired.  My sister opened the door and said,¨ It is locked.¨ Everyone tried opening the door but it was definitely locked. No one knew what to do, but my mom unlocked the car and we all went in, except for daddy. ¨Can I honk the horn?¨ I asked Mom. She said no. We were sitting in the front seat because we never get to go in the front. I kept touching all the parts of the steering wheel, trying to find where the horn was hidden. We started opening compartments and touching the mirror. We were actually having fun. HONK!!! The horn finally honked and everyone laughed except for mom.  ¨ I told you no.¨ Mom said. ¨Wait!¨ I screamed I was looking out the window at dad. Dance

  An anxious feeling filled my body as I sat patiently, waiting onstage for my numbers to be called. “ You did great in all of your dances,” I told myself. " Why are you getting so nervous? It won't change anything. “ Thinking this just made the anxiousness get worse. The awards had just started, and my first number had been called. “ Featherstone… Platinum.” The announcer called. This was my contemporary dance, my favorite dance this season. In case you didn't know, your dances were ranked with Gold being the lowest and then going High Gold, Platinum, and then Diamond being the highest. My friend Madison went up to retrieve the trophy and pins, and I smiled in relief that we did pretty well.
